Sir, I should check, but if you don't have one, you should definitely get a facebook.
Thanks for the 10 cap'n I always appreciate them from you.
caleb
you're getting very very good
:]
love all the syncopation.
could definitely be expanded on, though.
Eeeeeeeeeeee! Lpauley again :D
You need to be around more...
I'm glad you liked it, and I'm uber happy to get a review from you. So much so... that now I'm going to send you a message asking fur maor!
Thanks man!

loving some newgrounds piano :D
the abrupt pauses (i.e- 1:21,) seem out of place.
the parts at 1:20-1:30 just sounds odd altogether
overall sound is very tin-ny which deters the song
the velocity change at ~4:45 is a bit much, it becomes wayyyy too quiet
abrupt ending is very different from the general style of the piece
overall, nice composition. glad to see some other piano
There are quite a few things that get lost in this piece when it is performed by a computer. The lack interpretation of dynamics, for instance, ruins vital elements of this piece, such as the parts in the beginning that sound odd (due in part by the fact that the fact that the dynamics can't be interpreted in such a way that the melody comes through without losing the bass part), and the part at 4:45 that seems too abruptly quiet. Among the other things that are missing is a live piano, giving a warmer and darker tone. I tweaked the brightness down quite a bit, but I had to stop before the attack got too muddy. As for the ending, it signifies the cloudless sunrise, which would be (and is) a very abrupt ending to a long and lulling night.
Thanks for the review, I appreciate your comments. It's always good to get opinions of those who play the instruments for which I write.
woo
hi dudeeeeeeee
you seem to be getting quite a bit better, i really like how you blended the instruments, and love the strings.
the storm could be toned down a bit, and the piano could be smoother, and have a better transition from the storm
overall great stuff man
keep at it :D
Thanks man :D
I sent you a private message. I expect you to do it...
Anyways, yeah I could probably smooth it out a little... but meh. I'm lazy. Haha...
Thanks for the review man! I appreciate it! :D
this is realllly
simplistic.
you have a lead, and i wish you used it, but you just hardly added it in.
i like the rhythm you have, but it's left so empty.
do you still play stepmania?
nah gave it up like 2 years ago
...........
when i had to take the effort to turn my volume up to hear this, i didn't expect a lot
i was wrong
if they put this in the actual game, i'd probably still be playing.
love the ending.
love the guitar.
Yeah; I'm still using the Garage Band on my Mac while I wait for my new comp to get here. Hence the quiet piano MIDI.
But thanks! I'm glad you continued to listen. And I'm honored that you would compare the quality of my remix to the actual song.
hey bro,
remember me?
you've been getting a lot better.
you're flow is so much better, following rhythms and everything.
lyrics had some odd parts
i.e- "ended by an uzi"
and some others
but overall, congrats on the top 30, and good luck with the rest of your stuff!
Lol thanks man. And yes, I remember you. Someone actually being somewhat constructive and real about his reviews. Thanks for the review here.
mmm
excuse me for not knowing terminology,
but i really enjoyed this.
only complaints:
it's so quiet, i had to nearly double my volume to hear this decently.
i realize the 'muffled' sound was intended, but it gets a bit annoying after so long, i really thought that it was going to clear up later in the song.
i really liked it though.
Hmmm...so I need less peddle! that can be done!!!!
And I am sorry about the volume, I can't seem to fix that with, almost all of my songs. ^_^"
So, i will work more with the peddle to help clear that up, it needs to be fixed! And I am glad that you enjoyed it!
<PS>
I'm logan, i enjoy attempting to make music on my keyboard, sometimes it works, sometimes not so much.
